Nov. 9: Computers, 2 to 4:30 p.m. Registration required. If your digital images are stuck in your camera, memory cards or computers and waiting to "get out," this workshop is for you. Come learn how to transform your digital images into dramatic photobooks. Bring you digital images on a CD or thumb drive.
Nov. 15: Thomas the Tank Engine Party, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Celebrate our favorite storytime train with fun activities, crafts, snacks and even a surprise visitor. For ages 3 to 6.
Nov. 15: Songwriter's Workshop, Nov. 15, noon to 4 p.m. The day will culminate in a jam session in which the group will compose a song.
Nov. 17: MSC-Girls, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Second to last Monday every other month. MSC-Girls is the Middle School Club just for girls in grades 6 to 8. Nov. 19: Guys Read Book Club, 4 to 5 p.m. A book club for guys only, ages 9 through 13, with a free book for all who sign up. Pick up your book today. This month: "Holes" by Louis Sachar.
Nov. 19: Golden Pen Teen Creative Writing Group, 4 to 5 p.m. A fun, creative writing group for ages 11 to 17. Work with creative writing prompts, act out creative scenarios and develop the art of dialogue. Bring your work and share it with others. Completed work not necessary.
Nov. 24: I Need to Read, 4 to 5 p.m. Last Monday of every month. An exciting new program of speakers from the community and beyond that explores the need for reading in their careers. For ages 6 and up. This month, former NASA astronaut Anthony England is featured.

Track Detectives, 2 p.m. Saturday: You don't always get to see animals when you are outdoors, but you can usually find evidence that tells you critters were there. Look and observe the tracks and other signs wildlife leave behind.
Michigan Wolves, Past, Present and Future: 2 p.m. Sunday: Naturalist, educator and wolf advocate Dorothy McLeer will present a program on Michigan's most misunderstood mammals. Learn about the comeback of wolves in our state, the issues that arise when living near wolves, and what the future holds for them.

Saturday: Eco-Explorer Try-It Day. Explore an ecosystem and learn about relationships between plants, animals, and non-living things.
On this hike, a variety of trees and plants will be discovered using map and compass. Cadet scouts will set up a course for the Brownies as a part of their Orienteering Interest Project. Each girl will receive her badge by the end of the program.
