In the July 10 Chelsea Standard, an article on the Chelsea Farmers Market incorrectly stated that Back Forty Acres, LLC was taking orders for beef. They are not taking orders for beef at this time. For more information, visit the Web site www.backfortyacres.com.

Veretta Whitaker was misidentified in the "founders" photo in the July 10 story on the Primrose Garden Club. The identification should have been founders Sue Wood (left), Cheryl Niehaus, Mary Pulick and Veretta Whitaker.

Cowboy Day at Mule Skinner

Celebrate the cowboys who helped make this country great on Saturday, the National Day of the Cowboy, at Mule Skinner Boot Shop, 118 S. Main St. in Chelsea.

Plans call for an authentic chuck wagon and miniature donkeys as well as authentic cowboys and cowgirls to take part in this great free event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For more information, call 475-0342.

Advisor to train in U.K.

Deb Bauer, a financial advisor with the Edward Jones financial services firm in Chelsea, is volunteering her time to share her knowledge with the firm's financial advisors in the United Kingdom.

"We've had a great deal of success with training in our region because of the quality of financial advisors in our area," Bauer said. "As new financial advisors join us, we take the extra time to make sure they have all the tools they need to be successful. We are proud to share that with our colleagues in the United Kingdom."

Edward Jones expanded its operations into the United Kingdom in 1998 with eight original branch offices. Currently, the firm has more than 100 branches there, with plans for continued expansion.
