Locals compete in tourneys

Chelsea golfers are participating in numerous tournaments this summer sponsored by the Meijer Junior Tour, Power Bilt Tour, Jackson Junior Golf Tour and the U.S. Kids Southeastern Michigan Local Tour.

On June 20, Chelsea's Hannah Harwood placed sixth in the 15-and-older division, shooting a 111 in a Jackson Junior Golf Tour tournament at Hankered Hills Golf Course in Jackson.

On June 15, Chelsea's Emily Hardcastle finished 10th in the 16- through 19-year-old division, carding a 91 and 92 in a Power Bilt Tour tournament at Timber Trace Golf Course in Pinckney.

Also June 15, Chelsea's Krystin Schwarze placed eighth in the 15- through 19-year-old division, recording a 105 in a Meijer Junior Golf Tour tournament at Leslie Park Golf Course in Ann Arbor.

On June 11, Chelsea's Gabrielle Triveline finished first in the 11-year-old division, shooting a 46 in a U.S. Kids Southeastern Michigan Local Tour at Hawk Meadows Golf Course in Howell.
