The Cedars of Dexter Breakfast Club Series will be held 10 a.m. at Chelsea Retirement Community's main dining room, 805 W. Middle St., in Chelsea.

Veterans For Peace will hold its monthly meeting 5:30 p.m. in the McKune Room at the Chelsea Library, 221 S. Main St. As part of its educational mission, the group will show a film that is open to the public at 6:10 p.m.

Faith in Action will have a career advisor available every Tuesday from 12:30 to 4 p.m. at 603 S. Main Street in Chelsea, to help with resume writing, job searching, career research and talent evaluation.
This service is open to anyone who could use help with employment issues. A Michigan Works! Computer with up to date listings, and many other job search aids, is available as part of the service.

30th annual Ham and Antique Radio Swap will be held at the Chelsea Fair Grounds, corner of Old US-12 and Old Manchester Rd., in Chelsea. Gates open at 6 a.m. for sellers and 8 a.m. for the public.
Donation of $4 in advance or $5 at the door, children under 12 years old are free.
Committee for Chelsea Parks will hold their annual meeting 6:30 p.m. at Chelsea Community Hospital, Private Dining Room B, 775 S. Main Street. To be discussed and voted on: dropped formal Michigan nonprofit status and our current By-Laws and continuing as an informal group known as the Committee for Chelsea Parks.

Friends of the Pinckney Community Public Library will hold their annual book sale in the former Township Hall in the town square, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. For non-profit groups the time will be 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Pricing is set at $5 per bag and $2 per media item. The friends are looking for some volunteers to help with the sale.

AMAZING ANIMAL ADAPTATIONS: 2 p.m. Sunday, June 1. Live birds, reptiles and more will be featured in this informative program about the special adaptations that allow animals to survive in their habitats. Naturalist Jean McKim will bring a variety of animals for you to view up close. Program length 60 minutes.
NATURE'S TANK THE TURTLE: 2 p.m. Sunday, June 8. Naturalist Tom Hodgson will have live Michigan turtles to show you in this entertaining and educational presentation. Learn about turtle biology and life cycles as well as what to do when turtles are encountered in the wild. Program length 60 minutes.
