Day scores game-winner for Chelsea

Chelsea's boys' U-10 Bulldog soccer team defeated Canton 2-1 as Tanner Day scored the game-winning goal with 10 seconds left on the clock April 28.

Playing well defensively for the Bulldogs were Alex Keyes, Tommie Vincent, David Trimas and Noah Ruffin.
The Chelsea Blue Lightning U-11 team lost to Garden City 4-2 April 28. Scoring for Chelsea were Daniel Klink and Luke Heumann.
Playing well in net for the Blue Lightning was keeper Ricky Cassell.
Chelsea's U-12 boys' team defeated Canton 4-2 April 21. The squad lost to Monroe 7-3 April 28.
Chelsea's U-14 boys' squad tied Wayne-Westland 1-1 April 29. Sam Glaubitz scored the local club's lone goal.
Chelsea's U-12 girls' team lost to the Dearborn Lightning 1-0 April 28.
Chelsea's U-14 girls' club defeated the Livonia Storm 4-0 April 28. Scoring for the squad were Erin Stewart, with two goals and Amber Plemens and Michelle Wellman with one goal apiece.
Combining for the shutout in net for Chelsea were keepers Grace Martin and Lisa Keene.
