Nicholas L. Bucher was a bright, energetic young man who impacted the lives of so many friends and family in a unique and special way. Nick didn't know a stranger and was known for his love of God and his love of people. He had a quick wit and a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. Nick loved music and especially loved playing his fiddle. Carpentry and spending time outdoors were among his other passions.
Tragically his young life on earth was cut short in a car accident on April 7, 2007 near Crescent City, Calif. He was 22.
Nick was born on Aug. 16, 1984 in Las Vegas. He was preceded in death by his father Joel Bucher and by his paternal grandfather Clyde Shaver.
Nick is survived by: mother Sharon Hart (Fisher) and her husband Brian Hart, 2 sisters, Amanda Reddy of Dexter, Rebekah Hart of Crescent City, Calif., paternal grandmother Clara Shaver of Las Vegas, maternal grandparents Dean and Nancy Fisher of Dexter, 3 aunts, Jean Clemons (Fisher) of Holt, Mich., Sandra Fisher of Cheyenne, Wyo., Sarah Fisher of Dexter, 2 uncles, Daryl Clemons of Dexter, Beto Meza of Boulder, Col., 4 cousins, Dale Clemons of Dexter, Samantha Meza of Boulder, Col., Travis Clemons of Dexter and Carlos Meza of Boulder, Col.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life is scheduled to take place on May 26, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Webster United Church of Christ, Dexter.

Marjorie E. Murdock departed this life peacefully on May 5, 2007 at her home of 60 years. She (Marge) was born Nov. 16, 1916 in Wayne, Mich. to Herman and Meta Shotka. She met Warren Murdock in Wayne High School and fell in love and married him on May 15, 1937. They had 60 wonderful years together farming and raising four daughters.
Warren passed away in 1998. Surviving daughters are Carol Krull, Laurel "Jo" (Roy) Radtke, Patrice Murdock and Debbie (Richard) Luckhardt. She had 8 grandchildren Jeffrey (Kammy) Krull, Randy (Anna) Krull, Roy Jr. (Karen) Radtke, Angie (Rob) Guenther, Tim (Kristen) Dittmar, Ryan Dittmar, Katrina Luckhardt, and Krickett Luckhardt; 11 great grandchildren, Briana and Eden Krull, Alexander, Savannah and Lexington Krull, Avalon and Robert Guenther, Mykala and Jayce Dittmar, Taylor and Sabrina Luckhardt.
Mrs. Murdock loved the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren and loved going to fairs to watch grandchildren show projects and animals. She loved the holidays because everyone would gather at the farmhouse for the celebration. She was so thankful to be able to remain in her house until her death, surrounded by her family. She loved being outside and she planted a small vegetable garden every year, and fed birds daily. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Harold Shotka, and longtime special helper, Charlie Townsend.
A Funeral Service was held Tuesday, May 8 at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Dexter with Pastor Mark Porinsky Officiating. Donations may go to Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church (9575 N. Julius G. Heller, Jr. passed away on April 27, 2007. He was 89.
He is survived by two daughters, Martha Heller (Marvin) Goldberg andCarol Heller (Fred) Fauser. Julius also has six grandchildren and five great grandchildren along with several in-laws and a very large number of nieces and nephews.Preceding him in death were his wife Norma, two brothers and two sons Frankie and George (Jake).
Contributions will be gratefully accepted to the George N. Heller Music Fund, at Dexter High School to purchase music, instruments, scholarships for band camps and other music related items.

At Jul's request cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
Floyd Neil Knope of Dexter died May 7, 2007 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. He was 78.
He was born in Ann Arbor on July 22, 1928 to the late Oscar and Irene (Clough) Knope.
Mr. Knope was a member of St. Andrews United Church of Christ. He loved all things mechanical especially cars and tractors. He was a life member of the Dexter Vintage Car Club. He also belonged to the Dexter Challengers Euchre Club and had been an avid bowler for years. He was a very skilled Tool & Die Maker who could fabricate anything. Employment included King Sealy, Dexter Tool, Chrysler, retiring from GT Product in 1990.
Survivors include his wife Janice, they were married Aug. 28, 1971. Children; David Neil (Georgia) Knope, Diane Marie (Clyde) Berry, stepchildren; Brenda Brown, Dan (Kathy) Krull, Steve Krull and Renee Krull.
Also surviving are grandchildren; Mathew (Jenny), Chad and Alyssa Knope, Kristen & Sean Berry, Amanda & Disa Brown, Jake & Kelsee Krull, Megan Krull, and Mitchell & Richard Veal. Sisters; Barbara Baldus & Joyce Waggoner, and seven nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his dog Fritz.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Bill Baldus, and son-in-law Tom Brown.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today at St. Andrews United Church of Christ with the Rev. Robert W. Summers officiating.
Visitation was held Tuesday and Wednesday at Hosmer-Muehlig Funeral Chapel in Dexter and will be held again at 10 a.m. at the church until time of service. Burial in St. Andrews Cemetery will follow.
