Champion competes in meet

Champion Gymnastics' Level 5 team competed in the state meet in Midland last month.

Individually for Champion, Eliza Judge placed first in the state on beam with a score of 9.275. Bailey Mayrand finished second in the state on bars with a 9.375, second on beam with a 9.225, second on floor with an 8.85 and second all around with a 36.2.
Miya Loudermilk placed first in the state on vault with a score of 9.1. She also was sixth on beam with an 8.95 for Champion.
Darion Mayrand ended up second on vault with a 9.375. Sophia Garris was third on bars with an 8.675, fourth on floor with an 8.625 and fifth all around with a tally of 34.025.
Hannah Rutkowski was sixth on beam with an 8.85, while Caylin Livingston was 10th on vault with an 8.95. Anna Croley was strong in all events for Champion, finishing the meet with an all around score of 35.9.
Coaching Champion this season was Kristy Reske, Racheal Bergren and Matt Phillips.
