Winning the tournament were the host Mules with a score of 335.
Placing second was Saline with a 357.
The match was at the Bedford Hills Golf Club.
Individually for Chelsea, Emily Hardcastle finished first overall shooting a career-best 76. Hardcastle tied Saline's Sarah Hoffman at the end of the 18-hole tournament. In the one-hole playoff to determine the champion, Hardcastle bested Hoffman for the individual title and medalist honors.
"Emily's performance solidifies her status as one of the elite golfers in the area," said Chelsea coach Andrea Bareis. "She is such a fun golfer to watch. She has such confidence in her game and never lets a bad shot get her down. She's very competitive and approaches every shot with the same desire to hit the best possible shot she can."
Krystin Schwarze ended up with a career-best 81 for the Bulldogs, placing fourth overall in the tourney.
"To shoot this well has been Krystin's goal all season and she is finally there," Bareis said. "She played a tremendous round of golf today. It was very fun to watch her play. Her short game was on target and her confidence level was high. She played the course very well."
Sophomores Stephanie Everard and Hannah Harwood each carded a 103 for Chelsea.
"Although both girls said that they left quite a few shots out there on the golf course, their scores helped solidify our best showing as a team this year," Bareis said.
Emma Chervinsky ended up with a career-best 105 for the Bulldogs.
"After breaking her wrist just prior to the start of the season, she had a rough start to her year," Bareis said. "However, her confidence is climbing and her consistency is improving and her scores are improving as well. I'm very happy that Emma's game is coming around. She can continue to provide the depth that is so important to a varsity team."
Sophomore Sarah Shrosbree shot a 111 for Chelsea.
"This was Sarah's first 18-hole varsity tournament ever," Bareis said. "She shot a very respectable 111. I was extremely pleased with her performance in this tournament. She has been working hard to contribute at the varsity level this year and it's showing. She's definitely a large part of our future."
The Bulldogs next travel to Ann Arbor Pioneer for a match Monday at 3:30 p.m.
On Wednesday, Chelsea visits Tecumseh to participate in a Southeastern Conference quad at 3 p.m.
