The tournament was at Glenbrier Golf Course.
"Glenbrier is a very challenging little course," said Chelsea coach Andrea Bareis. "It's very tricky to navigate. Overall the fairways are narrow and the greens were fast."
Perry won the Division II championship with a 382 score.
Individually, Emily Hardcastle finished first overall in the tournament with an 82. The medalist title was Hardcastle's second in two matches this year.
"Her 82 puts her at the third-best score ever for this tournament," Bareis said. "What a fantastic start to her season. It's exciting to think where she'll be at the end of the season, especially when she's starting so incredibly strong."
Besides Hardcastle, Krystin Schwarze shot a 95 for seventh place, while Stephanie Everard had a 101, Hannah Harwood a 112 and Emma Chervinsky a 116 for the Bulldogs.
"Krystin is such an extremely solid No. 2 golfer with so much potential," Bareis said. "I can't wait to see how she improves over this season as she prepares to take over the lead spot this fall.
"I was extremely pleased with Stephanie Everard's performance in this tournament. Her 101 was her best 18-hole score ever and was good for 17th place at the tournament. Stephanie is a smart golfer."
On April 17, Chelsea participated in the Southeastern Conference White Division quad hosted by Dexter at the Ann Arbor Country Club.
The Bulldogs placed second with a score of 190.
The host Dreadnaughts finished first with a score of 184. Tecumseh was third with a 236, while Ypsilanti Lincoln was fourth with a 252.
"This was our first SEC White Division quad match of the season and the first time ever playing at the Ann Arbor Country Club," Bareis said. "It's a difficult little course that runs through the Loch Alpine residential area."
Hardcastle led Chelsea placing second overall with a 40. Winning the tournament was Dexter's Katelin Davis with a 39.
Hardcastle and Davis are two of the state's best players.
"They proved again how exciting it is to watch them play together," Bareis said. "They were even going into the last hole, which is a 100-yard par 3. Emily parred it, but Katelin birdied for the one-shot victory."
Schwarze finished with a 48, while Everard had a 50, Harwood a 52, Chrissy Burman a 56 and Emma Chervinsky a 70 for the Bulldogs.
"Schwarze and Harwood continue to show how valuable they are to our varsity squad this season," Bareis said. "Each came up big in their first quad match of the season. I will be looking to them to help this team to a state finals appearance."
In the JV match, Dexter won with a 259. Chelsea was second with a 272, followed by Lincoln with a 355. Tecumseh didn't field a JV team.
The tournament medalist was Bulldog Sarah Shrosbree who shot a 61. Dexter's Meghan Schlanderer tied Shrosbree for the title also recording a 61.
"Shrosbree had a nice start to her season," Bareis said. "She'll be ready to break into the varsity line-up in the next week. She's going to be an important part to our future varsity success."
Rounding out Chelsea's scoring were Katy Steklac and Lindsey Keyes each shooting a 70, Katie Sayer with a 71, Kelsey Penar with a 75 and Danielle MacFarlan with an 84.
The Bulldogs next travel to Temperance Bedford for its invitational Friday at 9 a.m.
On Monday, Chelsea hosts Saline at 3 p.m.
On Tuesday, the Bulldogs will participate in the Ann Arbor Pioneer Invitational at 9:30 a.m.
On Wednesday, Chelsea will compete in the SEC quad hosted by Ypsilanti Lincoln at Pine View Golf Course at 3 p.m.
