The others are Richard Downey, city administrator of Rock Falls, Ill.; Richard Dunnell, manager of Bridgeport Township, south of Saginaw; and Anthony Nowicki, assistant city manager in Wixom.
The interviews will take place in city council chambers at the Washington Street Education Center, and will be spaced at one-hour intervals beginning at 9 a.m.
The city council met at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, two hours before its regular meeting, to sift through a half-dozen rÈsumÈs presented by William Baldridge, a consultant with the Michigan Municipal League.
"The consultant prescreened 25 rÈsumÈs, and gave us 6 preferred candidates," said Interim City Manager John Hansen, and the council chose from among those.
"It looks like a very strong field, some very good choices," Hansen said.
