Wedding: Sharp/Troczynski

Elise Sharp and Michael Alan Troczynski were married on the beautiful fall day of Oct. 20, 2007 at Dexter United Methodist Church. The couple wrote their own vows, with Dr. Matthew Hook officiating the ceremony.

The parents of the bride are Stephanie Bell of Dexter and Ronald and Susannah Sharp, also of Dexter.
Parents of the groom are Leola J. Troczynski of Dexter and Chester Troczynski, who also served as the best man.
The matron of honor was Tarah Ash of Brighton, sister of the bride.
The bridesmaids included college and high school friends Jean DuBay of Monroe, Kelly Yager of Baltimore, Malinda Jackson of Hudson, Ohio, and Christine Fierek of Dexter, sister of the groom.
The groomsmen were high school friends Christopher Merz of Belvidere, Ill., Edward Heller of Huntersville, N.C., Thomas Shearer of Northville and friend Ramsay Trix of Ann Arbor.
The ushers, all longtime friends of the groom, included; James Kitchen of Jackson, Gregory Denoyer of Brighton, Eric Nolff of Howell and Daniel Brown of Chelsea.
The bride was blessed to have both grandmothers in attendance at the wedding, Marian Bell of Flushing and Betty Self of Florida. Friends of the bride Tracy Parron of Baltimore sang with Monica Drukis of Dexter and Amanda Jorgensen of Raleigh, N.C. serving as the readers. Neighbors of the couple, Melissa and Jessica Lemke of Whitmore Lake, and relatives of the bride Emilee and Evan Anderson of Grand Blanc, were junior attendants.
Photos were taken at Gordon Hall in Dexter and at Hudson Mills Metropark, were the couple met. A reception was held at Lakelands Golf & Country Club.
The newlyweds honeymooned on the Hawaiian Islands and reside in Whitmore Lake. Both are graduates of Dexter High School.
