Proceeds from the event will help the family with medical expenses.
Katie Roberts Ray, mother of Hayley Ann Ray, recently had to give up her position as Manchester High School's competitive cheer coach and her in-home daycare operation to take care of her daughter.
The family has strong ties to the Manchester and Chelsea area. Hayley's father, Christopher Ray, works at Chelsea Orthopedic Specialists at Chelsea Community Hospital, and her grandfather is Brad Roberts, Chelsea's wastewater treatment plant superintendent.
A fund in Hayley Ann Ray's name has been set up at United Bank & Trust to take donations from the public.
The cost of the dinner is a donation of any amount, and the silent auction will include Michigan State University, University of Michigan and Detroit Lions game tickets, Pampered Chef gift baskets, Silpada handmade jewelry and more.
To donate additional items for the silent auction or for more information, contact Katie Ray's sister, Kim Roberts, at (734) 320-4924.
