The season-opening high school football extravaganza will feature four consecutive games at EMU's Rynearson Stadium.
Chelsea will kick off its season playing Novi in the day's final game, under the lights, at 7:30 p.m.
Opening the football showcase will be Saline against Northville at noon. At 2:30 p.m., Allen Park will square off against Trenton in a battle of Downriver powers. At 5 p.m., Lake Orion will take on Troy.
Showdown officials estimate 20,000 fans will attend the all-day gridiron affair.
Also featured at the event will be an interactive fan zone with football-theme action.
"We think it's a fantastic opportunity to play on a college campus in an outstanding EMU venue," said Chelsea Athletic Director Wayne Welton. "That makes it even more attractive.
"We'll be the featured game. The Chelsea-Novi contest is always heated. It's a pretty neat opportunity for our guys."
Tickets to the football showcase are available at Chelsea High School. Advance tickets are $9 for adults, $7 for students, and children 6 years old and younger will be admitted for free. All game-day tickets are $10.
Welton said he's looking forward to the playing in a big-time college atmosphere.
"I'm especially excited for our seniors," he said. "It should provide a lifetime of memories. It's going to be fun."
