Earlier this month, Chelsea held its end-of-season banquet. Receiving the Brett Poupard Award for hustle and motivation was junior forward Kyle George.

Presented the Most Improved Award was senior defenseman Austin Feeney.

Named the Rookie-of-the-Year for the Bulldogs was freshman forward Drew Brown.

"From top to bottom, this team has been fun to be around," said Chelsea coach Don Wright. "It was a good group. We had a lot of good, young players that contributed."

Individually, senior forward Schyler Williams led the Bulldogs with 28 goals and 22 assists for 50 points.

Senior forward David Maveal had 20 goals and 20 assists for 40 points, while senior defenseman Jake Vaughan had six goals and 23 assists for 29 points.

Senior defenseman Travis Amburgey had 12 goals and 15 assists for 27 points, while George had 12 goals and 13 assists for 25 points and junior forward Matt Heinen five goals and 11 assists for 16 points.

Senior forward Michael Bazydlo finished the season with six goals and seven assists for 13 points, while junior forward Garrett Nickels had four goals and nine assists for 13 points and Brown three goals and nine assists for 12 points for Chelsea.

Junior forward James Cogswell ended up with three goals and six assists for nine points, while sophomore forward Steve O'Keefe had two goals and three assists for five points and junior defenseman Matt Prince one goal and four assists for five points.

Senior forward Shawn Scott had one goal and three assists for four points, while Austin Feeney had four assists for four points, sophomore forward Riley Feeney one goal and two assists for three points, junior defenseman Andrew Korc one goal and one assist for two points and senior defenseman Nick Mattson one goal for one points for the Bulldogs.

In net, senior goaltender Josh Cottrell finished 9-5-2 overall for Chelsea. He ended up with a 2.14 goals against average and one shutout. Fellow classmate Zach Leszczynski had an overall mark of 5-3 with a 3.54 GAA and one shutout.

Sophomore net minder Joe Hume finished with a 2-0 record with a 0.86 GAA.

As a team, the Bulldogs had four shutouts. In two of the shutouts, Cottrell and Leszczynski combined for the goose egg.

Chelsea set four team records this past season.

The Bulldogs set school records with an average of 31 shots on goal per game, least amount of shots allowed per contest with 16, most power play goal with 38 and the highest penalty kill average with an efficiency of 88 percent. For the year, Chelsea allowed only 17 power play goals.

The Bulldogs tied a program record with six players scoring 20 or more points this season. Chelsea tied last year's squad for the record.

The Bulldogs set a team record with 10 players with double-digit points in scoring.

This past season, Chelsea scored 111 goals, while giving up 61 goals.

The Bulldogs averaged four goals per game offensively. On defense, Chelsea gave up two goals per outing.
