Loretta G. Ehnis of Monroe, formerly of Dexter, died March 12, 2007 in Toledo. She was 89.
She was born Jan. 16, 1918 in Ann Arbor to the late Glen and Melvina Naylor. She then married Thurlow Ehnis Sept 9, 1935. He preceded her in death April 1970. Mrs. Ehnis was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Monroe and formerly a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dexter. She is survived by her children: Karl (Nancy) Ehnis of Whitmore Lake, Beverly (William) Bernard of Dexter, Barbara Haines of Irons Mich., Neil Ehnis of Dexter, Joann (Bruce) Weeks of Monroe, sisters: Verna (Fred) Covert of Hudson, Fla., Dorothy Wetherbee of Fowlerville, Brothers: William (Shirley) Naylor of Ary, Ky. and Charles (Nell) Naylor of Dexter, 10 grandchildren and 16 great gGrandchildren as well as several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Robert Naylor, sister Virginia McNutt and son-in-law L.D. Haines. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated March 17, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dexter with Father Brendan Walsh presiding.
