Lindsay Kimpel and Michael Tupper, both of Ann Arbor, are engaged and planning an August 2008 wedding at First United Methodist Church in Saline.

The future bride is the daughter of Carl and Linda Kimpel of Clinton. She graduated from Clinton High School, from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and is currently in the Master of Social Work degree program at University of Michigan.
The future groom is the son of Bill and Patty Tupper of Pinckney.
He graduated from Ann Arbor Greenhills High School, received a Bachelor's degree in Physiology & Human Biology from Michigan State, and received his M.D. from the University of Michigan in 2007. Michael is an Emergency Resident at the University of Michigan.
