Chelsea falls to Pinckney

The Chelsea Aquatic Club lost to Pinckney 545-424 last Thursday.

In the boys' eight-years-old and younger division, the Chelsea group of Tobin Moore, Zach Lee, Isaac Smedshammer and Sean McGill placed first in the 100 medley relay with a time of 2:14.30.
In the 25 freestyle, Lee was first in 20.57, while Smedshammer was second in 21.37, Moore fourth in 26.42 and McGill eighth in 39.41. Smedshammer was first in the 25 butterfly in 27.25, while Lee was second in 28.18, Moore third in 31.40 and McGill eighth in 59.32.
In the girls' eight-years-old and younger bracket, the foursome of Ellie Doman, Molly Olk, Anna Vanneste and Jenna Bach finished first in the 100 medley relay in 1:47.08.
In the 25 freestyle, Vanneste was second in 19.60, while Olk was fourth in 21.45, Bach sixth in 22.37 and Doman eighth in 23.40. In the 25 butterfly, Vanneste was second in 21.33, while Bach was sixth in 26.64, Olk seventh in 29.63 and Doman eighth in 34.82.
In the 100 freestyle relay, Taylor Brodbeck, Olivia Olk, Carlie Hodel and Alexa Moore finished second in 1:53.98. Quinn Dammeyer, Annie Nichol, Melina Almhiemid and Julia Zocharski placed fourth in 2:43.66.
In the boys' 9- through 10-year-old division, Aunic Goodin, Drew Deppner, Max Lonnemo and Sam Almhiemid finished first in the 200 medley relay in 3:21.86.
Lonnemo was second in the 50 freestyle in 39.27, while Almhiemid was third in 41.53, Goodin fourth in 43.85 and David Trimas eighth in 49.57. In the 50 butterfly, Almhiemid was second in 52.30, while Lonnemo was third in 54.65, Deppner fourth in 1:01.30 and Ben Kaemming fifth in 1:02.73.
Roy Schmidt IV, Ben Ingall, Tony Nichol and Kaemming finished first in the 200 freestyle relay with a clocking of 3:54.64.
In the girls' 9- through 10-year-old group, Claire Young, Mariel Arbogast-Wilson, Maegen Hopkins and Josie Ewald placed first in the 200 medley relay in 3:04.24. Meryl McDonnell, Kaylin Zocharski, Sienna Vargas and Camden Dammeyer finished third in 3:30.59.
In the 50 freestyle, Hopkins was first in 39.25, while Arbogast-Wilson was third in 40.60, Ewald fourth in 40.72 and Vargas sixth in 42.99. In the 50 butterfly, Ewald was first in 45.07, while Hopkins was third in 46.70, Young fifth in 52.91 and Vargas sixth in 53.57.
In the 200 freestyle relay, Hannah Almhiemid, Alyssa Gray, Hannah Moore and Lauren Olk touched first in 3:18.77, while Sydney Hodel, Fallon Mosier, Natasha McElrath and Katie Lee ended up second in 3:42.85.
In the boys' 11- through 12-year-old division, Nicholas Deppner, Ben Thoms, Blake Ortbring and Joey Ingall placed second in 3:18.93.
Deppner was first in the 50 freestyle in 33.98, while Eric Spero was sixth in 38.68, Ortbring seventh in 41.11 and Dalton Spero eighth in 43.00. Deppner was second in the 50 butterfly in 42.29, while Ortbring third in 46.95, Thoms sixth in 54.61 and Eric Spero eighth in 56.23.
In the girls' 11- through 12-year-old division, Alexandra Duncan, Kat Haroney, Talia Dyerly and Maddie Doman finished third in the 200 medley in 3:15.67.
Dyerly was first in the 50 freestyle in 32.85, while Duncan was sixth in 42.62, Madison Nelson seventh in 43.19 and Haroney eighth in 45.29. Dyerly was first in the 50 butterfly in 36.53, while Duncan was sixth in 49.31, Haroney seventh in 59.25 and Doman eighth in 1:07.74.
Carolyn Robbins, Nelson and Haroney placed second in the 200 freestyle relay in 3:03.33.
In the boys' 13- through 14-year-old group, Graham Rutherford was third in the 50 freestyle in 34.31. Rutherford was second in the 100 butterfly in 1:39.15.
In the girls' 13- through 14-year-old bracket, Katie Eisley, Hanna Claire Newbound, Hannah Olsen and Laura Heaney placed second in the 200 medley relay in 2:36.47.
Olsen was second in the 50 freestyle in 31.52, while Newbound was sixth in 34.66, Eisley seventh in 35.52 and Heaney eighth in 37.25.
In the boys' 15- through 18-year-old division, Blayde Ray was first in the 50 freestyle in 32.23, while Casey Hirth was second in 32.46.
Hirth was first in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:40.04.
In the 200 freestyle relay, Eric Spero, Ray, Rutherford and Hirth touched first in 2:18.11.
In the girls' 15- through 18-year-old division, Amanda Johnson was third in 32.86 in the 50 freestyle, while Grace Benton was fourth in 35.04.
Benton was third in the 100 butterfly in 1:38.57, while Johnson was fourth in 1:42.43.
