The man entered the National City Bank location at the corner of Zeeb and Jackson Road at about 1 p.m. Dec. 31 and asked a teller for money.
The man appeared to be unarmed, according to Sheriff's Commander Dave Egeler.
Witnesses did not see the man brandish a weapon and a security video recording of the robbery shows him at the counter in dark clothing, leather gloves, sunglasses and a hat.
He left after the teller handed him a sum of cash, the amount of which is being withheld due to the ongoing investigation.
Witnesses saw the robber flee the scene in a silver car driven by an accomplice. The drive fled via I-94.
Egeler said that police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect shown in still photos taken from the security camera recording.
Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's tip line at 734-973-7711.
